Hello holiday makers. We have a lovely 2 bed caravan on the 5 * green lawns village in selsey.
It is one of the first of the bunn leisure villages and one of the quietest, prettiest and secluded.
Our van comes complete with those home from home extras like a flat screen TV with a built in DVD. A variety of DVDs to watch. CD player. Books, puzzles, games. Gas fire, blown air heating, soft furnishings.
Fridge, microwave, cooker, complimentary teas and coffee. Toaster, kettle crockery etc.
Shower, toilet, under bed storage, wardrobe, double bed, 2 single beds, bedding if required, blankets, cleaning equipment, washing up liquid, Hoover, to doggy accessories and dog poo bags!
We are the only privately owned pet friendly rental caravan on green lawns and we love dogs. So why should your dogs not come on holiday with you?
There is a huge open field directly behind the van(see photo) which is ideal for the dog walking, or playing footie on or flying a kite.
There is also a dog peg lead outside the van in the garden ideal for a small dog. Connect him to this long peg and it will prevent them from wandering off while you sit out side catching those sunny rays.!
Also there is ample car parking space directly by the van.
On day of arrival we ask our holiday guests to meet myself deb at the van for handover of the keys and to ask any questions you may have. Or there is a security key box nearby.
Please note we do get booked up during August as we are pet friendly and selsey is quite a popular place.
We charge 300 pw in low season including Easter, Whitsun.
July its 600 but August its 650 a week.
All inclusive of gas and electric etc.
On site there is The welcoming Viking pub
Across the road from the viking is the hairdressers shop and beauty salon with free WiFi access.
Outside you will see the curtusy bus taking people to the other bunn leisure sites.(although you can walk to them.)
Next door to green lawns is The White Horse. Its still fairly quite, but has a few shops, bars and kids club Plus a information reception centre.
Then further down from there is the third of the three sites West Sands.( It has it all.) The beach, the shops, the fun fair, the gym, the swimming pools, beauty salons, bars, cafes, amusement arcades, kids clubs gokarts, and the embassy bar which hosts top billed entertainment!
Stars such as toyah Wilcox, cannon and ball, the kinks, Bobby davro, Billy ocean, the stylistics have played in the bars.
The list is quite endless, so if you want to come and see one of these acts perform live on one of the three sites you will need a entertainment pass. These do cost a little extra and can be bought through bunn leisure just ask on day of arrival.
The best part about holidaying on green lawns is the peace and quiet. If you want to join in with the fast paced fun of West sands you can do, but at least you know you have the option of returning back to the quieter pace of the relaxing chill out green lawns ah bliss!
Selsey is quaint fishing village but comes alive during the summer! Vibrant shops, cafes, restraunts, pubs and friendly locals all make selsey the place it is now.
Theres a great 15 minute bus service in selsey too. The bus will take you into Chichester and you can make a connection at the bus station to bognor, Worthing, littlehampton or Brighton.or walk across the road to the railway.
Theres also the beautiful beaches at bracklesham, the east and West witterings near to selsey and Chichester (only a bus ride away) and you may see some famous faces casually wandering around like Nick lyndhurst(Rodney trotter) to Keith Richards or Christopher Timothy to Kate Winslet or Brian may!
The cafes and restraunts in selsey are very reasonably priced and recommended too.
Try the selsey Riviera. The cafe grumpy or the seal pub restraunts yummy food and good value.
If your like me and you love fresh seafood. Pop up to the beach and see Julie's bar. She sells jellied eels, cockles, welks etc.
We hope you will like holidaying in our van. Our guests tell us that they love being in the quiet secluded spot with the field behind them. Dont forget though there is life outside selsey. The village next door called Siddlesham. It is here you will find a huge golf course that has just had a kids safari adventure course built on to it, so might well be worth going to.
There is also a charity in highleigh.it is a little centre run by two sisters and a volunteer who take in pigs, goats, ducks, turkeys, chickens etc... they work tirelessly and depend on the publics donations to keep them afloat. So for 50p you buy from them a bag of feed which enables you to feed the animals and the money helps the centre! Other attractions nearby are the beautiful west witterings with its sandy dunes and beach. Bracklesham bay, Brent lodge wildlife hospital and earnley butterfly and falconry centre, and the lovely cat and rabbit rescue centre open daily.
So theres plenty to do in and around selsey.
